What Oils Can Be Vaped?

2/17/2017 Print

Essential oils have become increasingly popular in the last couple of years as they have proven to have several health benefits. People use these oils in various ways ranging from diffusing throughout the house to direct application on the skin to soaking in a bathtub. However, most people don’t realize there is another way to gain the benefits of essential oils besides diffusing that may have faster acting effects. Inhaling essential oils through a quality vaporizer has become one of the more widespread ways to enjoy essential oils. This is because vaporizers provide clean vapors that enter the body through the lungs and sinuses creating much quicker effects than using diffusers or other methods.

There are a few things to keep in mind while using vaporizers to enjoy essential oils. Because the oils are already heavily concentrated, a drop or two of oil is plenty. If there is too much oil in the vaporizer, chances of burning most of the oil instead of vaporizing it are very high. With this in mind, notice the temperatures on the vaporizer and ensure it is on a lower heat setting to produce even vaporization of the oils. If unsure which heat setting to use, always start off on the lowest and work your way up if necessary.
